FCPS offers daytime and evening adult ESOL classes in Frederick County for out-of-school individuals who are at least 16 years old. We help learners improve the communication skills of listening, speaking, pronunciation, reading, writing, and grammar to promote self-sufficiency and full participation in U.S. society.
If English is not your native language and you are at least 16 years old and not enrolled in high school, you are welcome to join one of our ESOL classes. Most classes are free, but you must first attend a 3 hour ESOL orientation. You can only get started by making that first step.
Our next set of orientations will be held in January 2009. Dates and times will be published on cable channel 18. If you have questions, please contact Adult Education at 240-236-8450 or online by clicking the Contact and Request Info Link.
